Most Dangerous Sports

Have you ever wondered what the most dangerous sport was? I chose three of the most agressive sports, and I reasearched them. This is what I found! First, a little background on each of them.

Football

This sport was actually adapted after soccer and rugby. It was originaly called gridiron football. The first actual game was held on November 6th, 1869
at New Brunswick in New Jersey. It was with Rutger and Princeton, playing a game that was modled after soccer and rugby. The game we see today was made by Walter Camp. He served as a
halfback and team captain as well as the head coach. He created a quarterback, as well as the downs and the 11 man team. He also created the scoring system that is still used today.

Soccer

This sport is one of the oldest sports in history. Dating back to 206 B.C., it is claimed by many countries to have created it, but England really made it popular. In medival England, the game was brutal,
as you had to take the ball for miles to score, usaully at the captains house. It would cause massive chaos, so it was banned in the 14th century. In 1863, the rules were perfected. It became an organized sport.
As more and more clubs agreed to the F.A rules, the desire to make a team was created. The ideas rubbed off on the other countries, eventually making its way to South America.

Rugby

Rugby started, according to a legend. Here is the legend according to FloRugby "As the tale goes, a soccer ("football" as it's called everywhere else) match was taking place at Rugby School in Rugby, Wawickshire, England
in 1823 between Rugby and Bigside. During the match, a boy by the name of William Webb Ellis picked up the ball in two hands and ran forward with it down the pitch. His intentions to this day are unknown,
but the consequences of his actions spawned the creation of the greatest game on earth. " Rugby slowly became more popular, until it became a professional sport in 1995.
